Antipaxos or Antipaxi island is the smallest of the Ionian Islands and belongs to the municipality of Paxos. According to Greek legends, Paxos and all the tiny islands around it were created when Neptune, the sea god, nipped with his trident, a tiny piece from Corfu in order to create a snug cozy place for himself and his consort Amfitryti. Located 3 kilometers to the south of Paxos, the islet of Antipaxos covers an area of 5 square kilometers. It consists of Tiny villages,tiny hills and tiny beaches with fantastic waters. Voutoumi and Vrika, the two main beaches of Antipaxos are located at the north end of the islet and both beaches are safe for all people. To the south of these two beaches, there are a few small and beautiful secluded coves. To go to Antipaxos, there are water taxis that run from Gaios usually every hour. The trip takes about 15 minutes.
Home to a quarter of a million olive trees, Antipaxos is also reputed to give the best olive oil in the world though there are plenty of other islands that claim the same. The endless ranks of olive trees can make walks on Paxos inland hillsides thoroughly monotonous. The islet has a small harbor called Agrapidia and a network of narrow tracks starting from the harbor leading up to the interior of the island, passing the occasional cottage with orchards of fruit trees, vegetables and wild herbs. The islet is covered with vineyards owned by the residents of Paxi. The local grape produces a rich red wine with delicious taste.

The island can be reached by air from Athens (daily service from Athens airport and more than six flights a day during peak periods) or Europe. Ships go from Patras (132 nautical miles), Igoumenitsa (18 nautical miles) or Sagiada as well as from Italy (Bari, Brindizi, Ancona, Otranto) and the former Yugoslavia (Bar, Dubrovnik, Split). By road you can go from Athens or Thessaloniki by way of Igoumenitsa.
Ithaca island is located in the Ionian Sea, with an area of 45 square miles and a little more than three thousand inhabitants, separated from the island of Kefalonia by a narrow canal, only 3 kilometers wide.It's the least developed and arguably the most beautiful island in the group with pretty pebble beaches and a mountainous interior speckled with pine forests, cypresses, olive groves and vineyards. Ithaca is famous for being the homeland of Odysseus (Ulysses), Homer's hero in the Odyssey, the land where the faithful Penelope waited patiently during twenty years for her husband to return from the Trojan War.

Lefkada is the fourth largest island of the Ionian Sea with 23,000 inhabitants and an area of 302,5 square kilometers It is located at the Ionian Sea, above the islands of Ithaca and Kefalonia and on the western side of the coastline of the prefecture of Etoloakarnania The climate of the island is Mediterranean with extensive hours of sunlight daily and hot summer with cool breezes. It took it's name from the cape Lefkata, which lies in the most southern part of the island. Here, according to tradition, the lyric poetess Sapfo jumped from the cliffs to end her life and her misfortune love for the handsome Faona.

Compared to its size, Meganisi has many beaches, both pebbled and sandy. They are all clean and almost isolate, as few of them have tourist amenities close by. On these beaches, you can relax and swim among a picturesque landscape, as the whole of the island is green. The beaches on Meganisi are accessed by boat from Vathi, by motorbike or on foot.
There is a frequent service between Lefkada and Meganissi. The schedule from Nydri in Lefkada will take 25 minutes, while the ferry from Lefkada Town will take one and a half hour.
Paxos can be found 14 kilometres south of Corfu, 20 kilometres to the east is Parga on the mainland of Greece. Paxos covers an area of some 19 square kilometres and is one of a cluster of picturesque small islands set in the Ionian Sea. Paxos has no airport, can only be reached by ferry boat and therefore, has been able to protect itself from the strain of modern tourism. Paxos is an island of endless olive groves The eastern coastline of the islands are gentle compared to the west coast which are bold and abrupt, with caves, arches and shear cliffs. The island has an airport situated a few km outtside Argostoli. There are daily flights to Kephalonia except the charter flights. There are also ferry boat connections with the neighbouring islands as well as the mainland (Patras, Igoumenitsa and Kyllini) from Argostoli, Sami and Poros. During high season there are also Ferry connections to Italy.
